ANZPI Cyber Race Learn-A-Thon
Participate in the Learn-A-Thon to help students prepare for the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity exam that focuses on topics covered in the following courses: Introduction to Cybersecurity, Cyber Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Network Defense, Cybersecurity Essentials, and Junior Cybersecurity Analyst Career Path. These courses form the core curriculum of the Cybersecurity Career Path.
Length of Learn-A-Thon
Participate in the Learn-A-Thon from 13 April until 28 June 2026. Students must complete courses on the netacad.com platform.
Benefits of Cybersecurity
Teaches entry-level cybersecurity concepts and topics, including security principles, network security and endpoint security concepts, threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment and risk management, and incident handling.
In-Demand Skills
When you teach cybersecurity, you provide your students with valuable skills companies continually seek from professionals that can protect and defend an organization’s network. Entry-level job roles include Cybersecurity Technician, Cybersecurity Analyst, and Tier 1 Support Desk.
Courses
Explores cyber trends, threats and staying safe in cyberspace. Multiple activities and quizzes engage students and reinforce learning.

Incentives for students to join the Learn-A-Thon
Students who participate in the Learn-A-Thon and pass any eligible course exam with an electronically submitted grade of 70% or above will be awarded the respective course digital badge.
Students that participate in the Learn-A-Thon will receive a Cisco Learn-A-Thon experience digital badge.
A Cisco digital badge is an emblem distinguishing an achievement that can be shared and validated digitally on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Xing, via Email, shared link; embed code into web page or blog.
After the Learn-A-Thon, encourage students to continue to complete the participating courses. The CCST Cybersecurity exam certification is an excellent steppingstone for learners to validate their skills and then continue to associate-level certifications like CyberOps Associate or CCNA.

Learn-A-Thon Awards
The top 25 instructors overall, together with the highest-scoring instructor from each country-based on the combined total of student participation, course completions, and badges earned-will receive an invitation to participate in the ANZPI Cyber Race competition. These distinguished instructors will then select a team of two (2) students to represent their academy and compete head-to-head in the ANZPI Cyber Race Competition, which begins on August 4, 2026.
Additionally, the top 25 instructors overall will be awarded Cisco-branded prizes and a certificate of recognition.
Only one prize per instructor will be awarded.
Registration
How Academies Join the Learn-A-Thon
Host an 11-week event virtually or at your educational institute.
Assign a dedicated instructor to manage the Learn-A-Thon who will read the terms and conditions and set up the course.
Dedicated instructor to set up the eligible course on NetAcad.com using the required naming convention as stated in the terms and conditions.
Dedicated instructor to complete registration form to sign up their academy and course to participate in the Learn-A-Thon.
Dedicated instructor to enroll students/share link to the course on NetAcad.com.
Allocate an on-site lab facility with internet connection, if applicable. Encourage students to complete course and earn a digital badge.
All students who complete and pass the eligible course will earn a digital badge to share on social media platforms.
Have the highest accumulated points per the terms and conditions and you’ll be in the running to win some great prizes.

The top twenty-five instructors, as well as the top instructor per country competing in the ANZPI Cyber Race Learn-A-Thon will have the honor of representing their academy at the upcoming ANZPI Cyber Race Competition. Instructors will select a team of two (2) students to participate in the challenge to test their skills and compete to become the ANZPI Cyber Race Champion!
